Sustainability Committee Meeting was held with members participating from Japan and abroad

We held a Sustainability Committee Meeting on May 16th, 2025, with the participation of Directors, Executive Officers, Division General Managers, a General Manager and an observer from the IDEC Head Office and major group companies in Japan and abroad.

Chairman and CEO of the IDEC Group serves as the Chairperson of the Sustainability Committee. The Committee comprises of the five Specialized Committees and the CSR Procurement Committee, where each of the five Specialized Committees focuses on five critical fields respectively: Environment (E), Social(S), Governance (G), Safety(S) and Quality(Q). The last two fields are especially considered as our sources of strength, and the CSR Procurement Committee aims at sustainable procurement.

Each Specialized Committee reported achievements in the first half and plans for the latter half of FY2026, in line with “the New Sustainability Plan (3 years) for FY2026 Onwards”, outlined at the previous meeting by the Specialized Committee Chairpersons, who also served as an Executive Manager or a Division Manager of the departments. After the reports by the Committees lively Q&A sessions and opinion exchanges followed.

Important resolutions at the Sustainability Committee Meetings shall be submitted and reported to the Board of Directors and matters approved or discussed at the Meeting will be disseminated to each employee under the initiative of the Sustainability Leaders, the heads of the specific departments.

We are committed to promoting sustainability activities with the entire IDEC Group to realize a sustainable society and a “New IDEC,” which has been incorporated into our structural reform since 2024.
